My car's color plate states: ORIENTBLAU Metallic 317/5. Build date for my car is 04/05. VIN indicates it is a 2006 model though an early one at that. My car also has the standard key with integrated remote instead of a keyfob. According to other research I have done on this site, this is indicative of an early production 06. Additionally, the engine block has the N52B30 designation on it so I know it's definitely an 06.

To the point of the matter: All of the sales brochures I have seen indicate that the orient blue metallic was not an option for 2006. Were there, in fact, early production 06 that were painted Orient Blue? I do not find that to be out of the realm of possibility but wanted to ask here to see if anyone had additional input.
