Personally, I don't prefer white since it looks dirty very quickly and scratches are more visible. But its your car so as long as its what you want than enjoy!

I think the headliner is color matched to the interior color.

Pukka, white cars are the least likely to show dirt, dark colors are the worst , same goes for scratches too . I had several dark cars mostly charcoal and black and they were miserable to keep clean. I think if you cruise around the Forums you'll find most would say the same
Cheers

I disagree, I have had several white cars and find them much easier to keep clean than the black and dark blue cars.

What do you guys think:

2008 550 SP, Alpine White, natural brown , Bamboo Anthracite Wood Trim
exc combo,i have it and i love it,dont forget antr headliner-a must with this combo!good luck!

and, yes, white is easier to take care of,dirt and scratches are not as pronounced/visible as they are on black car (contrary to popular belief).

Not a fan of the bamboo trim - but the white with natural brown leather is going to be a STUNNING combination (IMO). I would probably order the light popular wood trim as a nice contrast the the black trim it sits in and all the black trim in the natural brown package.

Good luck!!

This is an interesting thread as no UK driver would touch a white 5 series as white cars here are seen as cheap and nasty. They are used as Police cars but I don't think I've ever seen one in private ownership. You'd also never be able to sell it. Perhaps they'll catch on here one day. As for nature brown, I had this in a previous car. I liked it, but nobody else did. Bamboo doesn't go with it though. Light Poplar wood is the best match (or alluminium if you're brave).

Wow! I'm not saying white is not a good color, it does look very nice. But my past experience with owning a white car makes me shy away from that color (I don't prefer black either for the same reasons I posted earlier, plus it absorbs more heat).

I honestly cannot recall seeing too many white cars in places I've lived (Southeast, Northeast, Europe).

Just curious, how many of you folks who own a white BMW do the following:

Drive in snow/slush?
Keep it garaged?

never had a white car before... I have AW with auburn interior and really like it...so does everyone that sees it. I like the bamboo wood trim also. After 3 black,3 silver, and 1 phoenix yellow.
Go for it and good luck.
