Cold air from pass side vents only while on heat mode

Your pic shows that you will get lots of airflow through the centre vent BUT it will be cold. The bars on the left only indicate flow not temp.
Just to the right, the two BLUE bars indicate cold. There are four BLUE (cold), one WHITE(neutral) and four RED(hot) bars in total. Using the iDrive knob, first toggle to the spot then turn the iDrive knob to your desired temp. For hot days you need four BLUE(cold) bars and for very cold winter days you need four RED(hot) bars. I change these quite often. BTW, if you press the centre climate control button to Auto your settings for the vents in the pic are not used but the temp is still active. Just press the centre vent button once to change the temp easily. Also temp changes only occur for the centre vents. The other vent temps are controlled by each knob with the temps on them.
