No hei, pitka aika siten minun puhu soumen kieli. Okein kulma toulla!

Thats like childish Finnish Im sure. The siberian weather is supposedly heading our way in Southern England next week (along with the snow), summer slicks are not gonna like it on the five so the car will firmly be on the drive and the Mini will have to cover especially as once off the drive Im up hill.

Hei hei!

I think the coldest was 28.1.1999 in Kittil? -51,5C. But -40C, I think, has been reached every winter somewhere in Finland. Eventually to me this coldnes is better than winter in London.

I've noticed that my I-Drive screen is much dimmer when I start the car and it's below freezing, but then it gets brighter after -say- 10 minutes or so.
Anyone else noticed this too?

yes it happens to me whenever temp less than 30 F
it takes mine about 10 minutes to to "warm up" and become brighter

Aaah

Chaps.
There's nothing like jumping into fresh powder snow in -20 degrees Celsius after having a hot and steamy sauna.

After that, a quick warm-up in sauna and then a cold lager beer on the porch..

That, if something, is Life, with a capital L.

Savu Sauna, ah memories years ago in Rovaniemi, vodka, some snow, birch twigs and freezing cold water. Makes you want to put the heater on in the Five and chill.

Hi!

I missed -32,5 C.. but at least got -29 C. No problems with BMW, no icy windows.. Ebersp?cher helps with starting and warming up.
