The pic is a lousy cellcam one but I'm sure you can see the temperature.

The car was out all night.

The suspension felt hard the first 15 minutes this morning
and the engine sound was raw.

But everything worked just fine...
Yeah, we got down to zero F here last weekend, but we have avoided so far any of the -15F stuff that usually visits once or twice. And you can do the math on that...

In those very cold circumstances, I let mine idle in neutral with the clutch out for a minute or so, to get that gear lube stirred up; that way the gear shift moves better and the engine gets some warmth circulating before moving away, keeping revs below 3000 until the temp gauge starts to move. (you remember those, don't you?)

Cheers,
Ray Hull

My baby stays in the garage when it's that cold.

It was 30F down here in FL... that's cold, to Floridians.

COLD - Ha

Now this is COLD - loading fuel right now:

The liquid oxygen -- chilled to Minus-298 degrees F -- will be consumed during the launch by the Centaur's single RL10 engine along with liquid hydrogen to be pumped into the stage a little later in the countdown. The high-energy Centaur will perform two firings today to propel the New Horizons spacecraft out of Earth orbit.

Yup

Although here in So Cal it was like 25 degrees Monday morning and my Accord which I leave outside wouldn't start. I thought I had a starter problem, but then it sounded like the engine just had to be cranked a little more. Eventually it did. Still I had a thin layer of ice around the car.

I'm sure it is much colder up there where you are in No Cal.

It would be interesting if someone could post their most extreme temperature pic's, high or low. I used to live in Winnipeg, where it would get to - 40 C in winter.

They said on news that in Moscow it was -31 yesterday and they are expecting something close to -50 next days.

Here in Bucharest there is only -5 and weather is warming up.

My engine is sounding a little bit row whenever engine is cold, and iDrive screen is dimmer for sure. See this [topic=19280]thread[/topic].

I would die in that temperature as soon as i would make contact with that temperature. )))) Although i consider myself freezing rezistant, that must be insane. Freezing ur blood in that kind o envoiurment. Any other creatures around that place btw? J/k man.
