I have one more set of the KSport coilovers. They go for $950 shipped. A bunch of forum members are running these right now.

im riding the ksports from acute. just drove 400 miles today down to the jersey shore. was smooth as ice. granted the roads are pretty damn nice but all in all there doing good for 2500 miles so far. was able to drop it low enough to tuck wheel in rear and could tuck wheel in front but need a 5mm spacer to clear strut spring perch. but that would be super low.

i don't think there are currently any springs on the market that will slam you car. H&Rs will drop you 1.4"/1.3"

I have same yr/make/sport suspension as you. Ive always used supreme power for my suspension, ask for Eric or Jeff. Numerous cars of his in eurotuner, etc... I put on FK High sports and the ride is great compared to the sport susp. Im pretty low too, rolled fenders, cut liners and have no rub issues. If you want to check out the quality of ride and local lmk and we can try to schedule meeting up.

Good luck

Wow! $900 for coils is dirt cheap! I wish I could buy them for my car at that price!

Rob,

Completely depends on the quality of coilover and the height you place them at. On my 07 530i w/ sport suspension it is very comparitive but a little stiffer in ride. Personally I have always prefered the ride of a car with coilovers because I like to ride "on rails" if you will and feel the road but to each their own! The lower you go the stiffer they become because you limit the amount of rebound the strut has to work with. On our 5 series the rear strut has more "travel" when compressing vs most other cars... I am tucked in the rear and it still has more travel then my last car (audi A4) which was higher.
