Dear thy forum members,

I was quoted 6.5 hours for the install and alignment on a set of KW street comfort coilovers @ $85/hour. Does this seem like a decent rate and time for install?

call around, when i was getting quotes, i was getting a pretty big range for shop time. 1 shop quoted 3 hrs, another company quoted 8 freakin hours, and thats with no alignment. Asked him how come it takes them 8 hours when other shops were doing around 4-5 hours, he tells me that they have done multiple e60's, and it took them minimum 8hrs, lol. good luck and post pics after you get it installed! oh and make sure to get alignment done.

no problem, should take average 4 hours, give or take an hour or so. However if it includes alignment, then that can add additional 1-2 hours.

what kind of coils you get?

I thought you have to wait awhile for the coilovers to settle before having it aligned? Or, does the job include alignment at a later date?
