Saw this on CL:

http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...138664875.html

I don't know this person or recommend them or anything but saw this -- just found the post. Has some links to videos (which I don't believe are created by him) on examples of things he can code. Seems it's $50 to get whatever you want done. Not sure if this is a good deal or if there's anything in particular to be on the watch out for but if anyone is thinking to do this.. let me know and maybe we can have this done about the same time or shoot for a group rate.

Looks pretty solid, but I didnt see much that I'd be interested in doing besides removing the disclaimer and the digital speed, and dont think it'd be worth risking him ruining my computer such that I'm stuck with glitches and bugs.

As it is every once and a while my bluetooth messes up, or if it's really hot outside my computer turns on w/out any of my presets... I dont want to screw with it anymore.

Glad to see more NOVA/MD people though, let me know if you get anything done.

May not have F series cable with me? LOOL
That's too funny. More like software to do customized coding he means since his NCS isn't going to do F's. Nothing different from LCI E60 to F chassis in regards to cable.

I think the F10 and E60 cable are different. Not sure exactly what is different. I was talking to Chase a while back and he was trying to locate a F10 cable and couldn't so he ended up making one. My guess is that the plugs are the same but the setup is different. He also now has the software for the F10 which is much different than what we have.

Ok, I'm a bit confused why you have to start to close your top to open your trunk. Did I miss something here?

The F10 requires an E-net cable and E-sys to do coding. NCS and d-can cable will not work at all.

Ok. I hooked up the F chassis to my cable J2534 on ISTA online and it does indeed diagnose. I have a standalone ISSS server here and my cable works fine. But it can do all year BMW's anyway so...
