Is your 5er a pre-LCI? if you've got LM1 you might not be able to get the lights on when unlocking, at least not from what I've found the rest is plausible
Mine is a Pre-LCI. We will see what i end up doing. Might start coding stuff this weekend when I am home. In case something goes wrong lol. Ill play around and keep ya guys updated.

I like this app a lot. Im glad I got that end sorted out. Now I just need to find a way to maybe squeeze more HP out of my N52 engine and make my car more fun. I like my E60. This is my first "new" BMW. Something is dragging me to get a 2nd car, which would be a E30. There is just something in the E60 right now (probably price of parts lol) that is keeping my interest in modding my E60 at a stand still. Especially the coilovers. I have a Xi... apparently that is my only option in terms of lowering my car.

My car's production date is 11/05. I heard that 10/06 is when they started to put in LM2's in. I guess I have LM1. I tried coding on it, and It fails to do a back up and then goes gray saying Not Compatible.

I coded the digital MPH read out, later I turned it off (so reverted it back), It works smoothly tho. I also coded the car so I can roll up all my windows with the key fob. I was only able to roll them down. I havent played much with anything else since I was more interested in the cluster stuff and light stuff then anything else lol. So idk if i should invest into a LM2 with some LCI tailights maybe? Im not sure how this can work. Why cant we just have a simple change of lights like we did back in the day? lol

I hear you. I'm in the same boat, really wanted lights to be coded more than anything but settled with ae remaining on until vehicle is locked. An LM2 would be nice but for me it seems unnecessary, for now; if something goes wrong or I change headlights then I'll consider LM change as well. Once you get into the coding of the car you can't stop

Hahah yup! I wanna code more stuff it make it unique and mine! Might look into NCS Expert next. That all depends. I really itching to get a E30. Which sucks because if I do, My E60 isnt gonna get any modding done to it. (currently eyeing E30s because coilovers for the Xi models are around $3000)...

Hoping some releases something cheaper soon.
