Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone else has come across this before. I noticed a noise coming from my clutch peddle today. Everytime I press and release my peddle. It sounds a bit like a spring being stretched out then released back
. This has only just started today, and in the space of 10 or 15 miles of city driving, and it seems to be getting louder. I'm gonna have a closer look tomorrow, ya know, see if I can see anything obvious, (like a stretching spring).
Any ideas??????????

surprisingly, it just went away one day. I don't know what ever caused it.

This is my experience, from your description I would say it's the same noise. The dealer ended up replacing the clutch pedal assembly (under warranty).

Update-ish:
Been in the car today and there's no noise!!!
I'm off to the big smoke tomorrow, close to 400 miles roundtrip, so I'll see what happens.
Thanks again

I think I fixed the noise, I pulled off the panel (what a pia to get off
) and, well basically I sprayed the crap out of the linkage's and pivot point's with a spray lube, well it seem's to have fixed it.
Just thought I'd give you all an update.
