My car has just started doing something irritating. At slowish speeds (10-40MPH) I have noticed an occasional clunk noise that sems to come from somewhere near the front left footwell. It only happens when you unload power.
My garage have had a quick look without much success. They think it might be engine bearing/bush/support thingies, but they aren't too sure. Anyone know of this problem? Any thoughts?
BTW the car is 5 yrs old and has done approximately 70,000 miles.
Thanks

i had a simular problem, twice i complained about it, dealer found that the prop shaft bushes needed replacing.
first time i told them about it they blamed it on a plastic fuel can bouncing around the boot.

Thanks BLooD - I'll get them looked at. That seems to make more sense to me than engine mounts. I'll check the plastic fuel can too!!
