I was told by dealer that he updated my CIP's software to version E060-06-06-510!!!

Does anyone know what that means? I was under the impression that CIP's s/w had versions 2.0, 2.2 etc.

That's version 22.xx something, pretty much the most current one, as it should be.

E060-06-06-510 is version 22.00.00, which is the latest.

The version (e.g., 22.xx.xx) is the umbrella CIP version for all vehicles that take the CIP software (E60, E63, E65, etc.), and the E0xx-YY-MM-xxx is the specific version for that vehicle platform (e.g., E060 = E60).
