Hi guys, I?ve read a lot about CIC in several post over screen problems.

What is exactly a CIC?

Welcome. I think it is "sic." OK, I'm sure that someone has said so by now, but you probably mean CIP. And, I'd bet that someone has explained what CIP means by now--roughly, the type of software update that is done frequently to make something on the car work better. Glad you are here.

Thank you very much, I guess I mispelled the acronym and what I meant was CIP, which is a software update.

I am new here, I?m from Madrid, Spain, and I haven?t introduced myself correctly. I have a 2005 - 535D.

On monday I will intruduce myself and I?ll post some data on my sweety

CIP is Coding, Individual, and Programming. It's a program running on new BMW cars such as new 3,5,6, and 7 series. I might miss some. New version, BMW calls it Progman.
