Hi all,

I have the chrome trim and dont like it, how can i go about changing it?

There is a member on this forum who actually spray painted over the chrome trim. You can also buy the vinyl trim and do it yourself. I am not quite sure how to though but there are some DIY's on this forum that explain the procedure

a sharpie should do it. or some house paint with one of those tiny rollers for tight spaces.

i HATED wood trim, until i saw the bamboo anthracite. I absolutely think that is the PERFECT trim for a black on black 5 series, hands down

If you mean me, yes I did, and it looked fantastic. As good as the original shadowline trim. For about a month, and then flecks of chrome started showing through on the edges. Attempting to use touch-up paint on them, or spray them just left it looking patchy. I recommend not doing it. A few weeks ago I went to BMW and got the original shadowline trim installed instead. Lesson learned! A fairly cheap lesson, the spray paint only cost $10 and 3 hours of time prepping it and spraying. But I don't recommend spraying at all.
