I was very lucky on my purchase. I put a bid on ebay for an OEM factory chrome grill (545i), brand new in the box straight from the dealer. My winning bid was only $51. The icing on the cake was that the guy was local (S. Calif) and he happened to work right next door to me. Talk about coincidence. Saved me shipping money.
Before that I tried to deal with one of the guys Peter530i had on his ebay link, which is jimmy540i (the first link). Guy gave me the run-around. He too was local but kept putting me off to pickup the grill. Not a good guy to deal with

Guys, I decided to got for chrome grill. I found two versions on Ebay. I need to know which one is the right one.
1. Is chromed totaly all over, not a single black color at all. It is says it is M5 chrome grill.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/E60-M5-CHRO...sspagenameZWDVW
2. The very rear (inner back) of the grill is black.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-04-06-E...sspagenameZWD2V
Why not just go to the bmw dealer.? I did and they are not that much $, they will even install them.? It should be chrome around the edges and only the thin facing of each grill slat, the slat sides should still be black.? I assume you want it to look like a factory item, correct?
<_<
Which one??????
