I took delivery today of my new E60. It is a completely European spec car delivered right here in the good 'ol USA. It's made in China, however, so the reliability is questionable. The driver's side mirror already is about to drop off.

Here are the specs (as far as I can discern):

Jet Black
Gray leather interior
6 sp manual transmission
Comfort Seats
NAV
Shadowline trim
Style # 123 wheels

It does not seem to have PDC or CWP (nothing on the bumpers to indicate such).

I cannot tell if it is a diesel or not, so I'm not quite sure which model this is: 530i or 525d

Acceleration is awesome and it handles everything you can push at it.

Straight line handling is fantastic, but cornering is more difficult as the front wheels don't turn.

Needs snow tires.

Merry Christmas to all.

That's a horrible crash in the snow bank--hopefully nobody was killed in the taking of that picture...

You need to hold on to that heated wheel better. Looks a bit more lumpy than I recall.

Cheers,

Good thread. Funny. Seriously though... anyone know a good e60 model car?

My dealer has one--very nice. Or, do you mean one to build yourself?
