Just been researching tyres and I've concluded that there's only one choice (assuming I stay with RF)?
I have 245/40/18 and 275/40/18 and only the Dunlop SP Sport DSST has those sizes...?
Without the staggers I would have the choice of Bridgestone and Goodyear too!? :'( I had fancied getting the Bridgestones following the sentiment on this board...

My car came with Bridgestones. No problem so far.
Also before I had an quite powerfull Audi with race suspension, sprinks, lower, just brutal driving performace (it did almost turn 90? on one spot at high speeds and also got Bridgestones Potenza. As I have talked to my friends in the tire shop and have red all the magazines possible the Bridgestone potenza seems to be the best. Also wins all the tests and supplies F1 race cars too

Or for a killer non RFT tire go with Michelin Pilot Sport 2's.

My Ride: 2005 530i upgraded to 2007 550i 12/20/06
Took delivery of 2008 M5 3/25/08 cf delete K&N filters, the rest stock.
I changed from the Bridgestone Protenza to Goodyear F1 Supercar. The F1s -so far- supply a great ride, grip the road like glue and seem to be not as loud on our awful Dallas roads!
