Here You can see good example of Chinese build E60. How I know that this is Chinese build. Has to be because they don't import E60 to China!
Attachment 11530
Picture taken during Shanghai F1 race last weekend. I saw about 10 E60's and several 7-series starting 730 and ending 760. Also few older 3-series.

German build or Chinese build its gonna be the same parts from the same suppliers. Can't see BMW risking thier reputation by building lower quality cars in another country.
Then again Merc did OK building their Heap of Sh*t ML in Alabama. I should know I have one  . Quality sucks but still a great car.

I don't see why you expect that there should be any differences between an E60 built in China, Russia, or Egypt and the one that is built in Germany.
My car ws built in the Egyptian BMW factory and it looks exactly the same as your car and as all the other members cars. It also happens to drive the same, feel the same, and sound the same .

[/quote]If only they manufactured an E60 with a different bootlid shutline I would have bought one, even it was manufactured in BMW's factory in MARS.
