Default Checking 0-100 performance of my 5.30d

Dear forum members,

I have a 2006 530d auto. I bought it 3 months ago at 156.000 km. According to official data my car's acceleration from 0-100 is 6.8 sec. Several times I tried to calculate 0-100 and it was over 8 seconds(in some occassions even very close 9). When I had my DPF cleaned I tried again and this time it was between 7 - 8 seconds (generally very close to 8 and rarely low 7s).

Is it normal for a car at 156.000 km. All auto mechanics to whom I asked this said it is normal. I had checked my car by OBD and there was no problem.
It reached easily to top speed(250) even before had my DPF cleaned.

Previously I used 2004 530da (218 hp) for a while and its 0-100 was around 7.3 sec.(as it is supposed to be) That car was over 190.000 km.

How can I truely check my car's performance?
Do you, too, think it is normal considering car's age and km?
Do you have any hints for best 0-100 performance? Some times I tried at DS mode and full throttle from the very beginning and I saw not a little time loss at low revs of 1st gear. Then I tried starting to press throtle slowly at the first seconds of the 1st gear then full throttle. I felt those ones were much better. Is it correct or only an incorrect feeling?

Very long post and many questions for a new member. Sorry for that.

Thanks in advance for your replies and greetings to all...

Try this.. From a stop put your foot on the brake at the same time put your foot on the gas pedal get the rpm's up. As the rpm's are up then floor it , And release the brake at the same moment . It will give u a better launch , and thus a better overall time.

Thank you for your reply.
I'll try it again.
Actually, once I tried to do so but it was weird and I could't do properly...
