Check Messages in iDrive

Hi guys
When I check vehicle stats on my iDrive. Such as Brake Pads, Engine Oil etc etc., it shows as Milegae underneath it with a green checkmark. But when I click on details of each item, for example Engine Oil, it says Get oil and oil filter replaced by your BMW dealer.
Is that normal? does it need servicing? if so, why does mileage appear next to each item?
