need some help. I have my check engine light and tpm light coming on and going off periodically at the same time or they take turns. today they were both on i reset the tpm a few times and it went off. then the check engine light went off, now the tpm came back on and went off after a reset. now suddenly the check engine light is on again. I'm wondering has anyone had this issue

I no it's related to pressure sensor but doesn't have no affect on car.🙂

 

well I went to the stealership yesterday and they looked at my gas cap and said it was bad and I needed a new gas cap and the service engine soon light would go off bc it had something to do with pressure. so a new gas cap $29 later the light is still on. hummm... they said I need to balance my tires and the tpm should be good but keep in mind sometimes staggered wheels could set off the tpm. humm I had staggered wheels on my 04 530i for nine yrs with no problem. now I have a 07 550i and they been staggered up for the past 6 yrs. this Tpm thing just started 4 months ago along with the service engine soon.
