Changing from pre-lci to lci front bumper
I wanna change my 2005 front bumper to the 2008 lci front bumper, is there anything I should lookout for?
Where can I find a new or used bumper, with all of its stuff like fog lights grill?

That is not the difference. First of all that white bumper is a m5 tech, not an m5 bumper. As mentioned above m5 bumpers come without fog lights. These pictures also don't do justice. Imho, the m-tech looks much better than the m5tech.

FYI, additional information in regards to Mtech vs M5 front bumpers...

I am somewhat in the same boat as you. I currently have stock LCI front bumper and looking to go mtech after winter.

I'm in the same boat as you guys. I want to switch both front, back bumpers and side skirts from my 2004 545i aswell. I been looking for the
550i sport bumpers and side skirts which I believe are the ones in the picture above you guys posted up of the white one. Do I need to buy the entire bumper system or can I just swop out the bumper covers?

Another route is just to add a lip to your stock bumpers. Here is an example...

The add-on lips are okay but still love the look of mtech.
