My Ride:
So, my 3 years has come around and next week I'm changing to another new E61.
Over time I have amassed a significant number of entries in my Sat-Nav-Pro address book, many of them for impossible to find places in out of the way places in Southern Ireland.
Now I'm starting to panic - will all that data be lost? Can I capture or better export it somehow?
I looked to see if I could even just find the Lat-Long co-ordinates and write them out manually, but don't see them stored.
Can someone offer any advice, please?

When you choose to navigate to somewhere by choosing a point on the map, at least on mine, (Business) it will show the coordinates (not 100% sure).
If you set to navigate to a preset point (one of your many), check out where the 'goal' is on the map and then do the above.
Time consuming but shouzld work....exporting would be ideal but i have no idea !!
cheers

That's a very good point. I guess we will all have the same issue when we get a new car. However I don't see how you could export the data since there is no support for that, at least on the pre-LCI models.

I don't see how you can export the data but you are going to appreciate the Google Maps part of ConnectedDrive, you can send any location to your car, so as long as you can find it on Google maps you're sorted.

In theory it is possible. Whenever the dealer takes your car is for programming the first step they do is download all user data from the car on their computer. Then they upload the new software and then finally put your data back on. This same method can be applied here.

If anyone can expand on this and offer some additional advice then I would be most grateful.

If I can find the coordinates then I'm happy to write them with quill and parchment!
