Changing brakes
i just gave my car in for the front brake pads to be changed and the services advisor was shocked i had done only 12000 km ... he then though it was a idrive error ... but then took it for a drive and realized it acctually needs to be changes ..
and once i though of it he was rite i have never gone thrue a set brakes so fast ..
so has anyone else done less then 12000 km for the front brake pads

Then, if i understand correctly, then, my friend, there is no way for the brake pads to las you only 12000km.
They should last for at least 50 000 km's.
There must be a malfuction with the brake pad sensors.

It looks like my front pads are going to about 30,000 kms on mainly urban driving
Mainly city driving!
50 k is min!
The iDrive do not always show correct figures. It somethimes need some days the calibrate itself.
