CEL Code PO492 - Increased Emissions

Hi - My car threw the Increased Emissions warning this morning, it made the 25 mile commute without issue. I read-up and then checked the gas cap but the warning still appears. I took it down to AutoZone and the code is PO492 which is related to secondary emissions. I've done some more searching and it appears this could be related to the parts themselves or potentially the hoses invovled.
Does anyone have any info towards this?

I got a PO491 "Secondary Air System Bank 1" code before and it ended up being some cracked hoses. Replaced them and it solved the problem.

Thanks, I checked underneath the hood but didn't remove the cover. I'll have to do that for a better inspection. Anyone know where I should be looking?

The problem is that it likes to crack under the intake manifold. It takes few hours of labor to remove the intake. This job costs $1000+ at the dealer.

I had this error on my M5 and it was the fuel vent valves in the gas tank... a 650 dollar repair since there are 2 valves and the labor is intensive its not worth just replacing one.
not saying that this is what is causing your error code but its a possibility

Check the Y-pipe (part# 11727508270).

Once you remove the engine cover, you'll see some of the hoses in the front of the engine and a little to the front right.
It was y shaped. I think I replaced #1 in this picture. I can't tell if it's the one below or the one in the picture above, but you could easily see it once you remove the engine cover.

I pulled the cover and found the y-hose amongst many other hoses. From what I can see, and you can't see it all, everything looks good. The hoses aren't visibily worn or show signs of wear through-out the engine bay.
The car has 106k miles, maybe one of the components involved has failed? I guess without anyone having specific info on the PO492 code it's off to the independent shop for further diagnosis.
