This is the second time my cel came on. First time was a few weeks ago but it went away in 2 days. Last night the dreaded cel came back. Car runs fine and no i-drive warnings. Has this happened to you guys? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have had my car for 6 weeks and have had more than 10 CEL's. I think mine is sorted now. The dealer did 3 coils, new battery and on the last trip the vanos intake solenoid. The Vanos soleniod would trigger a CEL at low speed and the coils made the car miss and throw a CEL at higher speed. I am in the process of buying a ODB reader so I can be sure but as of now, my car has never felt so smooth. The light can be a real challange and I hope yours gets sorted out soon.

Thanks for your input. Man, sounds like it could be many things that can trigger cel. I'll wait a few more days and see what happens.
