My Ride: 2005 BMW 545I SMG, Black Sapphire Metallic, Anthracite Maple Wood Trim, Cold Weather Pkg, Logic 7 Pkg, Sport Pkg, BMW Nav Pkg, HUD Pkg, Gargo Liner.
I sure would like cd-text 
i check my car and have try a few cd's with no luck on either burned or original cd's and i dont know what version the car have ??

and it 's worked on them all.
There appears to be some regional differences too with US cars not displaying it, if posts on here are correct.

My Ride: E60
It has always worked on mine IF YOU'RE IN THE ENTERTAINMENT MENU with the round dial for selecting tracks. CD Text does NOT show in other menus like below the NAV or from the main menu. Based on my experience, CD text is only displayed when you're using the main CD player (not the changer) AND you're in the actual Entertainment Menu setting.

Something is NOT right. 555, what version of software do you have?
I wish the Germans could figure out Electronics (Acura, Infiniti absolutely KILL BMW in this department, but that's another topic) like they have engines.......

NO nav, NO text!
I had a 520 loaner with bus nav and couldn't see text of the CD that displays text on my cra!!!
So I guess it only works with pro nav, or for the US, it only works with nav (since there is no bus nav).
Might be the Cd drive...
