hello Everyone,
I'm new to this forum. I enjoy reading all the different topics and posts.
I own an 04 BMW 530I and I would like to install a CD Changer and an Auxiliary Input jack. The local BMW dealer told me that I can only have one of those features connected not both of them.
Would anyone share any information on this? Would they work together? Is there any other set-up that I can use?
I have the Radio Auxiliary kit that is sold at Bavarian Autosports. http://www.bavauto.com
Radio Auxiliary Input Kit, Part # 65 12 0 153 502
Thanks,
Manny

That is crap. But again there could've been a misunderstanding. You can have a CD changer and an AUX Input at the same time. But you cannot have the CD Changer and the iPod Interface (recently released by BMW) at the same time. But again you can have AUX and iPod interface at the same time. So go back to the dealer and talk it out with him again. He might've confused AUX with iPod Interface.

525iSE nailed it. I had my CD changer replaced by a MOST bus i-Pod interface, and am thinking of adding an Aux input.

I have an 06 530i
Nav
Sat (not paying for service)
CD Changer
Can I add Aux?
Since I'm not adding iPod which uses MOST Bus I'm assuming I can add Aux input and not loose anything.
