Default CD Changer Issues

Hi Everyone,

I have just bought a 520d and I noticed a cd changer in the glovebox! only problem is it cycles through the cd's but the iDrive doesn't show them up on screen, It has them there but they are not highlighted so I cannot select them. The main cd player works fine just not the changer.

If anybody has any suggestions then please let me know!

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like somethjing along the way lost the coding or needs to be updated. Could be that something was changed out and this was the result. Have you considered creating a iPod connection? If you have to pay for coding might as well then your qty of music is almost endless...

I have the parrot media all plumbed in now anyway so I can just play through that via bluetooth, so I can just use that, and to be honest if its going to cost money then i'm not too bothered! Just wanted to see if there was a quick fix. Thanks anyway!

Here are some tips to try:
- Check if the CDs are correct side up.
- Try with one CD; preferably an original one not a burned one.
