I had noticed that a few of my CD's would not play in the changer but figured it was just being quirky. Anyhow, pulled the cartridge out and saw 2 perfect circular rings embedded/scratched onto 2 of my CD's. I realized that this is obviously damaged caused by the changer. Needless to say, I'm pretty pissed about that. I'm going to complain to the dealer about it but am wondering if anyone has had experience with this type of issue.

Yikes! thats scary... Now i feel like making a copy of all my original CDs just in case that happens... I wouldnt mind as much if the car ruins copies... but my originals... grrrrrrrrrr

i know what you mean.. i never had a cd messed up by a changer.. but one of my cds.. dr. dre chronic 2001, broke and split in half cuhz i guess it slipped out of its pocket in my cd case and split in two pieces. i hated it.. but my sweet girlfriend downloaded every song the way it is and made me a copy... its not the same as playing the original cd though..

Thankfully all my cd's are stored in Itunes but yeah.. I'm pissed! So I guess this is the first time this has happened... Lovely! This is going to be the fight from hell with the dealer!
