i am within the 50k, and it is also CPO so i dont know if that helps but i wont have to pay for anything, even if they need to change the CD player itself. do they ever need to do that?

well today i called my BMW dealer and talked to the SA, she was so impressed that i had the Document number all ready for her. either way she knew nothing about it, and scheduled my appt for Wednesday morning. I hope that it works for my car, i dont have NAV either so in re-reading the bulleting just now i am second guessing myself, but it cant hurt to go in and find out, right?

CCC = navigation. If you don't have navigation, then you don't have the CCC -- the bulletin clearly states that it applies to CCC cars only...

Since your car was produced before October 2005, you'll need to have a retrofit procedure performed (and possibly a software upgrade, depending on your current version.)

HELP 530d - 2006 :-) 1) must the car hav SAT NAV for the above procedure to work ?
2) my SA says my car radio is NOT compatible to retrofit !!
3 ) anything else i can do or request from them to do ??

Rudy, my 545i is a March 2004 build with NAVI Professional, will my car be a candidate for the upgrade? Unfortunately my original warranty expired a month ago and all I have is the certified series warranty.
