Hi,
To the people who done it already: There were any problems in the instalation?
If yes, are they resolved?

There is a problem with the communications menu. It?s not there after the upgrade! So if you have a BMW car phone - the handset will not work. It can not get connected to the main computer. The cure will come with next SW upgrade my dealer told me. Have not been able to use the phone for a month now!

Actually I don?t know for sure!

I did the Prof. Nav upgrade in the beginning of June.

I see, so you don't have V.12 (available since a week and a half)!!
According to your dealer, with V.12 you should be ok.

Tell your dealer to check the power supply. ( they disconnected the battery, not to drain it ). That one switched off 3 or 4 times, thus breaking the 5 - 6 hours programming of the new software.

When they realized this it was done in one try!

I think it probably overheated due to a faulty sensor?

When doing an CIP work the service tech MUST connect the car to an external power source... This is documented very well in the programming docs. Service centers that don't do this risk greater programming failures.
