Cat Delete? - 2005 530i

Just curious if it is possible to delete my cats and have the car still run. Would I need to get a tune? I already have a muffler delete and want a louder pop.

I accidently deleted the neighbors cat a few years back. Cant figure out why they wait till the last minute to run out in front of your car.
