forged is stronger than cast but the question is how much do you want to spend? cast wheels will be ~$1000 whereas forged wheels can go up to $4000.

check out the link in my signature for DPE R16s i have on sale.

PTL is gonna be all over this soon

Cast are cheaper, bur also weaker and weigh more. Although forged wheels are stronger, they are not exempt from getting bent by pot holes...if you bend a forged wheel badly it'll set you back quite a bit...if you bent a cast wheel your much better off...but cast wheels are more prone to bending...

I have cast VMRs on my car BTW....

If you can afford it, forged is clearly the better choice. Along with being stronger, they are also much lighter (about 30% lighter). The lighter wheel will make the car handle better: acceleration, cornering & braking.

If you are considering used wheels, I have a set of forged 20" wheels for sale in the classified section: &Swiss Forged. The wheels have just been refinished and have brand new tires on them. So you can get a set of nice forged wheels for just a bit more than a set of cast wheels

If money is not an issue, this is not even a close question. Go forged. Lighter and stronger than cast.

Check out DPE wheels. I am a master dealer for them.

Look into Vellano, Savini, or DPE. All of those are great choices.

If you don't mind spending the extra $$$, forged is hands down the better way to go. Just be very careful of which forged company you go with. Some charge you the high price nut give you a cast/forged combo. We recommend Alloy Technic, VIP Modular, iSS Forged and Interad
