Hey guys hope someone can help.... My Idrive screen went blank it turned back on for a week or so and then went blank again , I also get a lot of static coming from the front left speakers especially when i hit a bump or a hole, next my active steering malfunction lights been on for awhile now. i've done everything that i;ve seen on the forums but nothing works, then and now my passenger seat is stuck in a very uncomfortable position. If anyone can help i very much appreciate it... thanks everyone

Sounds like there is an electrical issue - may be as simple as a fuse or ground... could also be a module somewhere. Check fuses first. Get a code reader or take it to the dealer/indy shop... I wouldnt say your car is falling apart though...

Try changing the battery at first.
About bumps and static noise etc... Start checking the trunk compartment. Take everything out; carpet, covers, spare tire, everything. Look for water/leaks.

For the record, your Active Steering module is on the passenger side floor just in front of the seat(straight below where your knees are when you sit in the passenger seat). If it got wet it will throw that error plus a ton of other depending on how saturated it is.
