In Germany white was traditionally synonymous with "company car" so most private users avoided it. In Japan on the other hand it's considered a luxurious colour.

Yeah where are you based?

If you are somewhere sunny you can get away with white, if not I think it looks silly.


UK is the same, a white car come resale is a nightmare, some dealers won't even take them in to resell them. Only police cars were white, but even they are now silver.

I doubt I will get another black car until I retire; that way I could care for my black car all day. I love Alpine White on the e60. It has an elegant look. Having said this you can't go wrong with either.

White looks good on the posted pics. Carbon black would be the colour to have in the UK purely for resale purposes and of course it looks good if a bit difficult to keep clean. If you were to buy a white E60 in the UK you'd have to be prepared to own it for life or eventually give it away.
