Car worm up

greetings every one...
I wonder if any of you worm up their cars every morning or not?
if so how long do you let it worming .......?
personly i dont worm it up! (( the weater is mostly HOT in our country "today it is only 40? ))
i've heard that bmw cars dont need to be wormed up! please correct me if i'm wrong.

It needs to warm up but needs to be warmed up when its moving. So start driving right away slowly and let it warm up like that. Dont lit it sit there and warm up.

Max warm up is 30 sec for oil distributed evenly inside the engine. You then drive slowly to warm up oil in differential and other components. This will warm up the entire car components.
Back in the old days, carburator was used so warm up is needed for carburator works better. Not for fuel injection anymore

I do it according to the manual and i find it the best way. Start driving right away and warm it up gentley till reached optimum working temp.
lol you said "WORM"! HAHHA ok..ya well the manual says just start driving and not rev past the white marks over the tach until it gets warm, you basically see the marks disappear as it gets warmer.

Just like what my530i said, takes around 30 seconds for oil to get to every parts in the engine, usually I wait 30 seconds before driving off.
