Car wont start?

This afternoon I was sick and I had to get some medicine from the pharmacy. I put my key in and it registered having the key in, but no lights came on nothing. I pushed the brake pedal and pushed the start button and nothing happened. After taking the key out 2 more times the car started fine and has been fine since.
What could cause such a bizzare issue?

No because it started after 2-3 tries. Just wondering what would cause it to have no power for that one try.

oh, hmm no clue
. Plan on driving this car 100k+ during the 6 years I have the CPO warranty. Get everything replaced.
