I prefer to hand wash. The only vendor wash I go through are the automated ones that use jet water. No guide rails for the tires to hit. No hard rotating brushes on the rims. Only water, soap then air; and I only do this maybe 15% of the time. I normally wash her myself cause I love looking her over afterwards and taking pride in my work.

DIY is the best way to go, specially if you have nice wide wheels.

Hand wash myself. I occasionally go to the car wash. But no more. After what happened to my rims on the tracks. I'm strictly hand wash now.

thats kind of similiar to a hand wash, or I guess it would be a spray wash DIY

95% of the time I hand wash my own cars, whether it's 30F outside or 90F outside. Lol.. I don't trust car wash places BUT if it's really to cold or too hot and my cars need a wash, only one car wash place is acceptable where they hand wash the car..
