Anyone shipped a vehicle recently?
What did you use? I need to ship a vehicle from NJ to TX and I'm looking for a fast and dependable shipper.
I would appreciate any help!

Never used them but I know of people who have and heard great things about both.

I used these guys to ship two cars from AZ to IN. They were great, and cheap compared to others. I have heard others say that they were not happy with them in the past, but I didn't have any probelms at all. They picked up the cars on schedule and had them to my door in less than 48 hours.

+1, for this company. My cousin used them to ship his '07 Range Rover, Florida to Oregon.

I used a great company when I moved from San Francisco to New York. It's the company that many of the Bay Area Sports teams use for their players when they get traded (49ers, Raiders, Sharks, Nuggets, Giants and A's). They shipped both of our cars, one of which was my old E39. It depends if you want enclosed or not. Enclosed was a lot more. I think I was quoted around $2600/car for enclosed for coast to coast. I ended up doing the regular way and paid around $1200/car. The one thing to note though is whether you want your car on the top rack or the bottom rack. Although you think the bottom would be better, as it protects you from the elements, I would suggest the top. Why? When my SUV finally arrived, it was underneath and the car above it must have been leaking fluids and or/oil, because it was a mess when I picked it up. I kept my E39 on top and although it had it's usual weather stains, it was much easier to clean. It's also nicer on top because people can't get to it easily, should the driver make frequent rest stops along the way. I wanted my E39 out of the way. Also, you're not allowed to keep anything inside the vehicles during transport and car covers are not allowed. In the event they fly off, this could cause a serious accident.
