Hello,

When I try to park in garage I slowly step on the brake with the transmission in Drive and then at a certain point the car starts to shake or vibrate such that I have some difficulty to park properly. Also, when I come out of garage in Reverse the very similar thing happens. Is this normal for 2005 545i? Have anyone had the same issue and fixed thru the dealer? The car is still under warranty. Please help me out.

Thank you.

It would be helpful for members to know something about your car ... model and year. And often your 10-20 is helpful.

Thank you, Mine is 2005 545i with Sports.
Basically, at very low speed with transmission knob in D, when I step on brake slowly the car starts to vibrate or shake a little bit before it completely stops.

It is similar on either way. Both forward and reverse. Thanks.

Maybe check:

- Spark Plugs
- Belt Drive
- Oil (changed?)
- Inyectors?

Maybe you need a full tune-up for your car.

what is the mileage?

Low idle, have it adjusted. There is a SIB on this, don't remember the # ow, but I had this done on my 645Ci, similar symptoms.

It's 31k.
What is SIB? or # ow? Sorry, I am still a newbie here.
Thank you, all.
