Hi everyone

I just noticed sometimes when I release the gas pedal, the car seems to decelerate and retain continuously on and off as if it is being resisted by something.... not sure what that means... in other words, accelerating is fine, and once I release the gas pedal, the car should usually just run smoothly and slowly decelerate as we don't touch the pedal... my car seems to softly jolt as if it wants to decelerate, then retain, then decelerate... 1 sec each interval... weird... would anyone know what is happening?

thanks again guys!! the best forum ever!!

What happens with your RPM needle when this happens?

You should get a nice smooth constant decleration. Probably with some engine breaking also. If its a steep hill that you're rolling down you'll get more engine breaking.
