Default car leaning on passenger side

My 530i sport is leaning a little to the passenger side. is this normal? I found a thread that i think said it was normal, but this sounds strange to me. MY is 2004 so is it normal for the shocks and springs to wear out? Should i just bring to the dealership to see what they think (dont want to) or should i maybe get some coilovers? I would like to keep the ride height just where it is. thanks ben aka nola530

ps. i will try to post pics when i get home.

it is completely normal for the passenger side of the e60 to be slightly lower than the driver's side. once the driver sits in the car, the car levels off.

Nerwyll!! THat's not true! If u have vlad (V_therussian) sitting in the passenger side, it will SCRAPE like a mofo! ANd if he drives on the driver side, one side will be slammed!!!

That is a good idea and a great way to solve the problem. Yes, OEM (any OEM) shocks and springs wear out, that is why they are not covered under CPO warranty - they are a wear item. That is why I went with KSPorts too, my OEM rears were giving up the ghost and my rears were rubbing. Now, I have a much stiffer ride that is just as comfortable and the car is level (I measured mine from the floor to the top of the fender well - 26" at every corner )

if it leans THAT much that u see it, there's something wrong. Blown struts possibly? The lean should be negligible to the human eye.
