Whatever you had set the settings for with that particular key will stay in memory on its own. What I did was have the exact same settings on both sets of keys, that way, nothing will be out of whack when you go to drive.

Same here. The only problem is that when you eventually decide to repeat all your settings for your spare key you have to remember what you set in the first place!

I would do this.

1) Use the key that has the settings you want first. Start the car with it.
2) After starting the car with it, press M on the driver seat and then press 1 just below it.
3) Stop the engine, get out and lock the car as usual.
4) Take the second key and unlock the car as usual.
5) The seats and everything else will move according to the settings stored in your second key.
6) Start the car with the second key.
7) Press the number 1 button on your seat. This will return the settings exactly to the settings stored on your number 1 key.
8) Stop the engine and remove key. Now the settings are stored on your second key making it identical to the first key.
9) Get out of the car and lock it with the second key. Now you have two keys with identical settings.

I believe those also get stored in your seat memory, along with the side mirror settings.

I just read the manual and you are correct. My procedure above only stores seat, steering wheel, and side mirrors. The "Personal profile" is different and it is stored in the keys. The OP would have to go through the pain of having to set those settings again for key number 2. I am enclosing a picture of the manual page that describes what gets stored in the key:
