Isnt the 530 a V6 with a 5 speed tranny?
Other than the fact that BMW doesn't make a V6 at all...
and I don't think the company has made a 5-speed in a 5er in a while either for that matter

Just my luck. I should have expected a response from you. You always seem to catch my sporadic momentary lapses of reason. I am now acutely aware of my silly error and I sincerely apologize to all of my fellow E60ians for my mistake and I vow to never ever let it happen again. Please forgive me.

Hehe...it's all good buddy. We're just having a lil fun! It's quite common to make such a mistake when so few cars use the inline 6 configuration.

Was so funny. I told you that I had just hit 1200 miles on my way to the event Saturday so I floored the car in M3 Sport mode. I must have only been going around 80 and my girlfriend totally flipped out on me. I can only imagine the claw marks on your seat and dash is she had been with you.

I agree. I threw caution to the wind when I got the E63 by letting hollywoodtrash do a few runs to redline with less than 100 miles. My next Euro delivery in 2010 for a BMW, I'll be sure to take it to the limiter just like you did with your new baby.
I've been trying to tell some of these folks from the very beginning that if you break in fast, she'll be a fast pony. But no one believes me. Then, they complain about transmission not shifting right, etc. and have to go do the "25 sec." thing. "Wait . . . wait . . . let me do the 25 sec. reset and I'll race you . . ."
