car jerks forward when stopping

also it happens when it in 1st and below 5 mph.

If there are any leaks they would be visible on the ground most of the time. I am thinking that there is either a internal issue or could a low fluid level cause the "jerking" you are experiencing?

no leaks at all ,i was thinking maybe a low fluid level too .

put in sport mode while on idle shift from 2nd to first see if it slams sometimes is won't but most of the time it will but your problem is defiantly a tranny issue your tranny pan might need to be serviced really hard to tell but defiantly tranny needs attention very common with our cars

Sounds like the second to first gear slam,, ( serge ) when coming to a stop , with foot on the brake . Feels like your getting rear ended .
A transmission update did the trick on my car with that exact problem . Been fine since then ,and has never done it again ...

A transmission flush worked for me. I had the same issue in my 330i with 150 miles

sport mode you mean put it to the left and shift manual.and can you get a transmission update anywhere or just the dealer.

Most Indy shops should be able to update the transmission .. Actually once I was at the dealer to update the transmission , I decided to have the whole car updated ..
