thanks for getting back to us original poster! under inflated tires would cause this too.
--about my original reply. i had a 93 mustang with a whole bunch of crap done to it. I had 17" wheels and saleen racecraft suspension and it was rock solid at high speeds. When i put some soft compound dunlops on there it became wavey/floaty at 100+

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.

No, that does not sound normal. I'd take the car to the dealer or a great suspension/tire shop.
