I went out for a joy ride today on the AUTOBAHN, and decided to push my E60. So I put it in DS (Drive Sport) and hit it. I got up to 137mph before the wind started to get under the car an push me around a little. But still at 137mph I had Audi station wagons flashing me, . I had a Porshe 911 infront of me that I was drifting behind, and he was moving. I have to say that even at that speed that the car handles Excellent . I didnt have to turn the steering wheel much and didnt have to hold the wheel tight. So I figure before I ship the car to Atlanta in may I better get all the speeding out of my system.

The A5 3.0 V6 TDI Quattro DIESEL does 0-62 in 5.9 seconds and the S5 Quattro in 5.1 seconds.

For all wheel drive, that's engineering!

A better car maybe but not faster than the A5.

The A5 Diesel 0-62; 5.9.... my 535d 0-62; 6.5

Different classes of car but those Audi A5 figures are IMPRESSIVE.

Part of the reason being

535D - 1735 Kg

A5 3.0 TDI -1610 Kg

That's only a burger eating passenger difference plus half a tank of fuel. Bring it on!

ABC

PS So how does the 335d compare, eh? 1655kg and 6.2 secs... hmmm... and the A5 has about 40 less HP!

So as I said, only part of the reason.

But the A5 is 40HP less and a single turbo.

Go figure the OTHER part!
