Hi guys, this morning when I went to get in the car I noticed my unlock buttons were not unlocking the car, manually opened the door... no lights came on when door was opened, tried to start the car, nothing....no cranking no lights no sounds, I was in the garage and noticed everytime I turned the key my driver corner light would blink once and go off. I'm thinking it's the battery...what you guys thinking? bought the car used back in 2007...it's a 2004 545i and I don't think the battery was replaced by previous owner.

Try jumping it. If this works, then your battery is dead, right?
Or, you could take your battery to a shop that could put it on a tester.

definitely battery... if you were having symptoms before of low battery, then this is normal. if it happened out of the blue, check your battery compartment and under the spare tire for water... but I doubt that's the case.

No symptoms at all before this, matter of fact I drove the car 6 hours before last night and no problems whatsoever...trunk is dry, no water.

if your battery is original, i'd just go ahead and change it.
batteries usually last about 5-6 years on average, and at that point they can just suddenly die without warning.

Did it rain there last night? Not kidding this is a serious question...
If it did can you open the trunk open and look under the spare tire for water.
