Ok, so I got it back after about 24 HRS at the dealer...
Things I've noticed:
1. iDrive actually takes LONGER time to boot... ( )
2. NAV is improved in many ways, not only the perspective view which is awesome & I love the helpful icons on the left...
3. Didn't feel any improvement in acceleration like some ppl said, but my guess is that the automatic tranny computer was the one to get the upgrade while i'm on manual tranny..
4. V3 over Bluetooth sounded crappy & interrupted for couple of times - something i've never had before... but I can't be sure it's the new software.
*** I have no clue what software I was on before (Feb 18 2005 build).
I will continue checking and coplete my review in the next few days.

Mine is 530i which had transmission shifting issue after installed CIP 13.2 for emission recall. After installing CIP 16.2, it's much better in D although it's not as great compare to others. Still have throttle lag at 39mph and above. In DS it hold RPM at 2K most of the time which is OK to me.
Final judgement is the car driving better.

After re-checking, i-Drive does NOT take longer to boot, it'a about the same time, It might have been a fluke... Hope that the BT issue was a fluke as well...
Some interesting info.:
1. Seats memory kept position.
2. Vent settings kept settings as well.
3. Logic7 Equalizer and sound settings have been reset.
